Individual Orders in the U.S. and International
Any Agate titles featured with an "add to cart" button next to them may be purchased by clicking the button. Shipping and handling fees and sales tax (Illinois residents only) will be added to your purchase automatically.
All orders are processed within 24–72 hours of receipt. However, if the book you are ordering happens to be out of stock, we will update you on the status of your order via e-mail.
Shipping
Continental U.S. addresses:
USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation: $5 for first book, $0.75 for each additional book. Allow 2-5 business days after the day your order ships from our warehouse.
International addresses:
International orders will be shipped via Airmail: $13 for the first book and $1.00 for each additional book. Allow 2-5 weeks after the day your order ships from our warehouse.
When you purchase a book or eBook via our shopping basket, the payment will be handled through Amazon Payment Services. If you already have an Amazon account, you will only need to confirm the purchase; if you do not have an Amazon account, you will have to create one in order to make the purchase. Purchases will show up on your credit card statement as Amazon Payments Services. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, and DISCOVER.

Bookstore/ Retail Orders
Agate books are distributed to bookstores and libraries in the United States and Canada by Publishers Group West. Retailers in Europe may order through Publishers Group UK.
Internet Returns Policy
Books purchased on Agatepublishing.com may be returned within 30 days from the date of shipment. Be sure to pack the items properly, as all returned items must arrive in saleable condition and accompanied by the receipt in order to qualify for a refund. Agate Publishing will credit the customer's credit card for the value of the merchandise, less any shipping and handling charges. No cash refunds.

Return Policy for E-Books
E-books are nonreturnable and nonrefundable. You must have Acrobat Reader installed in order to download and use our E-books. If you do not have Acrobat Reader, you may download it for free at get.adobe.com/reader/
Downloading E-Books
You can download an E-book immediately after reaching the Order Confirmation page, which is the final part of the purchase process. Click the link to the Download page and then click the link(s) to the file(s) you would like to download.
If you would prefer to download your purchase later, you may do so in the My Account section. You can get there via the link provided in your e-mailed receipt, or from any page on the site. Go to the Download Center. After logging in, you will have access to your downloads. To download a file, simply click on the filename.
An Agate E-book filename is based on the title's ISBN. You may wish to make a note of the ISBN listed in your confirmation e-mail message so you will be able to easily locate the file.
