Fight “epistemic closure”!

How’s that for a grab-you-by-the-throat headline? Seriously, though–you have to read this Slate piece by William Saletan on our society’s need to wake up to partisan insularity, and how it’s being fed by digital media. Most of the examples given here are from the right–don’t be scared, those of you from the left, as this is the whole point. There’s no progress possible without engaging those with opposing views.
