Spotlight: Chicago Tribune’s 50 Best Chicago Bears of All Time

Even though the Chicago Bears season has come to a close, there’s no time like the present to reminisce on the best players who have worn the iconic orange and navy-blue uniform. It is no secret that the Bears have had a hard season, especially with the recent struggles with team management and the firing of head coach Matt Nagy. As the Bears work to rebuild their front office, fans can recall the days when the front office signed some of the team’s best stars, including Walter Payton, Matt Forte, Mike Ditka, and Brian Urlacher in The Chicago Tribune‘s 50 Best Chicago Bears.

As the Chicago Bears set out to begin their 100th season in 2019, the Chicago Tribune took a look at the 1,582 players who have played throughout the team’s history and created a list of the 50 best of all time. The Chicago Tribune’s 50 Best Chicago Bears of All Time contains classic photography and original profiles of the top players in the Bears franchise. Each profile provides an overview of the player’s life and career, as well as stats and information on how each player measures up with the rest of the field. The award-winning journalists, photographers, and editors of the Chicago Tribune have authored a book that is a must-have collector’s item for any Bears fan.
